Living in the Power of the Resurrection

Living in the Power of the Resurrection

Introduction

Easter Monday follows the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. While Easter Sunday focuses on the victory over death, Easter Monday reminds believers to live out the reality of that resurrection power daily.

The resurrection is not just an event—it is a life-transforming experience for every Christian.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the foundation of the Christian faith.

Matthew 28:5–6 – “He is not here: for he is risen…”

1 Corinthians 15:14 – “If Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain…”

* Jesus truly rose from the dead

* The resurrection confirms His divinity

* It gives assurance of eternal life

2. The Power of the Resurrection

The same power that raised Jesus is available to believers.

* Power for holy living

* Power to overcome challenges

3. Walking in Newness of Life

Easter Monday calls believers to a new lifestyle.

Romans 6:4 – “…walk in newness of life”

2 Corinthians 5:17 – “If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature…”

* Old life must be left behind

* New character in Christ

* Daily transformation

4. The Great Commission Continues

After His resurrection, Jesus gave instructions to His disciples.

Matthew 28:19–20 – “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations…”

Mark 16:15 – “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel…”

* Share the message of salvation

* Be a witness of Christ

* Continue the work of the Kingdom

5. Hope and Assurance for Believers

The resurrection gives believers hope beyond this life.

John 11:25 – “I am the resurrection, and the life…”

1 Peter 1:3 – “…a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ…”

* Assurance of eternal life

* Victory over death

* Confidence in God’s promises

Conclusion

Easter Monday is not just a continuation of celebration—it is a call to action. Believers must:

* Live in the power of the resurrection

* Reflect Christ in daily life

* Share the good news with others

*Closing Prayer

Lord, help us to walk daily in the power of Your resurrection. Let our lives reflect Your glory, and give us grace to live as true witnesses of Christ. Amen.

8 BUSINESSES I CAN DO AS A PASTORS

8 BUSINESSES I CAN DO AS A  PASTORS

Good day men and women of God  I came across this on one of the platforms I belong to, since many of us are struggling financially I think if I can report it here it might benefit somebody most especially as we enter the new year

I belief they cannot disturb the work of God in our life

1. I will write books, devotional and teaching materials

I would consistently write devotionals, prayer guides, marriage handbooks, leadership books, and spiritual growth manuals.

Christians consume alot of teaching materials. If you are a man of God, you are already a man of value with immerse knowledge in the things of God

You can write an ebook or physical book, Once written, they can sell for years.

You can write books that lead people on devotions everyday, you can write books on how to build faith. Most big G.Os have books they sell David Oyedipo, David Obiyeome, Daniel Olukoya, they all have books that are being sold.

2. I will sell christian apparel and faith based merchandise

These includes branded T-shirts, hoodies, caps, journals, notebooks, wristbands with scripture based messages.

You can create t-shirts with popular and powerful bible passages, you can create t-shirts with messages from songs! For example this no turning back song. You can create it and write either no turning back or I have decided to follow Jesus on the chest.

There are lots of businesses today that are just focused on creating stuffs like this, most of them are secular, a Christian based version will not be bad.

Youths love identity and expression. They will buy it if marketed properly.

3. I will do christian film or short drama production

You already have leverage which is the church members that would be interested in drama.

You can create short films, skits, stage dramas that are faith based content.

This way you are helping to spread the word of God and still making impact and making money. Mount zion is an example of such, if you don't have money to start like Mount zion, you can simply start on youtube and facebook.

There is a drama group I so much love on Facebook, they produce very powerful short dramas

4. Post your preachings on social media, emotions aside.

Making money while spreading the gospel is not wrong but don't be carried away.

You can post your preachings on youtube. It would even make you reach a wider audience and speed up the spreading of the world.

That's making impact and making money

5. I will do marriage, relationship and family Coaching

This is doing structured counseling programs, premarital classes, and parenting seminars, both physical and online.

People willingly pay for clarity in relationships, marriages and parenting especially if you are doing well in yours.

You can get certified to be a marriage counselor and offer it as a service totally different from ministry, people would trust a man of God more on marriage counseling than a random counselor.

If you are good in this aspect you can turn it into an income stream

If you don't want to charge for it, simply talk on it and upload on youtube, sweet way to make passive income

6. I will start publishing, printing and branding business

Many pastors I know are into graphic design or publishing, this is because it's easy for them to know alot of persons that can become their potential clients

You dont need to do the graphics yourself, all you need to do is setup a printing press, get 1 or 2 young boys to do the graphics. All you need to do is to prior knowledge of graphic designing and also spread the word about your business.

Flyers, posters, banners, books, church programs.

Churches print everytime.

7. I will start an agriculture and food processing business

Poultry, fish farming, packaged garri, palm oil, spices, frozen foods.

Food is a recession proof business, no matter how bad the economy is, people must eat.

Start an agriculture or food processing business according to your capacity

8. I will sell white label anointing oil

White labeling means a someone partnering with a trusted supplier to produce something in this case anointing oil that is branded with their name

Instead of making it personally.

I heard oraimo products are white label products.

For the annointing oil as a business, it works because members already value symbols of faith, churches use anointing oils alot.

Just make sure your oil is consistently packaged and hygienic.

Make sure it's cheaper and more organized than random sourcing.

Sell it to other churches, stores and bookshops

Other white label products you can sell are communion, the wine the bread.

You don't need to sell higher than the normal price.

It's not bad if a pastor own a brand of anointing oil.
